An early cog in the machine.

Sometimes a client wants independent advice on connectivity before they’re ready to order your IT solution — weighing up options for a new site or office, say. Introducing SICOM’s advice and design services keeps you in the conversation through us, rather than opening the door to an alternative IT supplier with a connectivity team of their own.

Every IT solution needs connectivity. That can be as simple as internet access, or as involved as a national, multi-site, high-bandwidth network. Some clients need specialist protocols like Fibre Channel or multiple wavelengths. Others just need a lot more cost-effective bandwidth between two units on the same business park to move CAD files between offices.

SICOM covers the full range — dark and dedicated fibre for high-bandwidth, secure networks, and Point-to-Point and Multi-Site Ethernet. Whatever shape the connectivity takes, it stays your solution. We stay behind it.

Both schemes end the same way: the client signs with SICOM, we support them, and you get paid. The difference is how hands-on you want to be.

Lead Referrals

Pass us a client’s details with a short introductory email. That’s it — we do the rest. If we close the deal, we pay you (or a charity of your choice) a one-off commission. Where connectivity is part of your solution, we’ll work with your sales and technical staff to make it a great fit.

Independent Partners

Sell SICOM’s services under your own steam with our full pre-sales, sales and after-sales support behind you. You find and manage the customers; the client signs with SICOM; you keep account-managing them. We pay you ongoing commission for the life of the contract — through renewals, and on all future sales to that customer. It’s your account.

Best when You want to own the relationship and earn recurring commission.

You introduce
Call or email your SICOM contact with the client’s details and a brief summary of what they need. It might be a lead you’ve qualified out — too big, too small, outside your area or product set — or simply someone you know who’s in the market for our services. Completely hands-off for you.

We qualify & register
We discuss the opportunity, and if it fits our portfolio we give you a reference number so the lead is logged to you.

We design & close
We speak to your customer and your team to build a connectivity solution that meets their needs and supports your solution. When the customer is ready, they sign our contract and we bill them directly.

You get paid
Once the deal closes, we pay a one-off thank-you fee — to you, or to a charity of your choice.

You find and manage the customers and continue to account-manage them. The client signs a SICOM contract, but the relationship stays yours.

Commission on one-time and recurring revenue for as long as you manage the client — through renewals, additions, and all future sales to that customer.

Lead Referrals

To qualify for a possible referral fee, we ask for four basics: (a) the client’s contact details — name, phone and/or email (they can’t already be a SICOM customer); (b) what product or service they’re looking for; (c) the likely timescale; and (d) confirmation that the contact is expecting a call from SICOM. That’s it.
Call or email your SICOM contact. They’ll discuss the opportunity, and if it fits our portfolio we’ll give you a reference number so the lead is recorded against you.
SICOM speaks to your customer and your team to create a connectivity solution that meets their needs and supports your solution. Once the customer is ready to proceed, they sign our contract and we bill them directly — then we pay you a referral fee.
No. If you’d prefer, we’ll pay the one-off commission to a charity of your choice instead.

Independent Partners

You register your client’s name and the opportunity with us, and we start a conversation about how to provide the solution. We design and price the service, which you can present to your client on its own or build into a larger solution. You keep managing the opportunity, and we support you right up to and including client meetings — on Teams or face-to-face. When the client is ready, you conclude the negotiations and they sign a SICOM contract.
SICOM delivers the service, coordinating delivery times with your own staff, and provides ongoing support based on the type of service — direct to the customer, or as second line behind your team.
Commission on the one-time charge is paid when the client pays SICOM. Commission on monthly recurring charges is paid monthly, once SICOM has been paid.
Yours. You continue to account-manage the client, and we pay you for all future sales to that customer — the commission is based on the total revenue billed to SICOM, even after renewals and additions.
